Looking for a Bright and Colorful Classroom?
Here are 25 bright and colorful classroom themes to choose from.
1. The First Grade Parade
I love that Cara left lots of open space on her walls for student work. And, it gives me hope that at the beginning of the year I never feel like my room is finished. That’s OKAY!! There’s always more to do, but it allows the students to see it change and grow with you throughout the year.

She also shares her room transformations over the year, and every year her room is absolutely adorable!
2. What the Teacher Wants
This classroom is actually a computer lab. But, my favorite part is all of the splashes of color in the accessories to make the area more inviting.

The rainbow would be a fun display over computers in the classroom or in a reading corner.
3. Fun Times in First

With lots of storage and seating options, this classroom is fun for little ones.
4. A Cupcake for the Teacher
So many great inspiration ideas from her bulletin board displays! Teri layered 3 borders for a punch of color.

And in case you were wondering, I know the objective headers are from Learning in Wonderland on TpT. I have the whole MEGA bundle for my classroom. What’s great about it is that you can customize and edit everything, and it’s available in a lot of different color choices. If you only want to use light blue and green, you can. I see myself using these for years to come with lots of different themes!
5. Erica’s Ed-ventures
Polka dots and chevron are kind of my thing!

This may be a black and white polka dot classroom, but the pops of color are just enough to give it a fresh feel without adding too much color!
6. Teachery Tidbits

This interactive word wall is whimsical and fun!
7. Primarily Speaking
Another black and white combo with pink and blue accents makes this bright and colorful classroom come alive.

This combination of polka dots and zebra print is just wild! It’s an interesting twist, but somehow it works.
8. Kinder-Craze
This one has been around for a while, but it’s still one of my favorite classroom reveals.

The lanterns hanging from the ribbon and the silhouettes of the kids above her windows adds just the right touch to pull this altogether!
9. Tunstall Teaching Tidbits
If you’re looking for a complete makeover that’s simple and clean, this is it!

Reagan share sooo many pictures of her classroom, displaying every area to help you really appreciate every little detail.
10. Schoolgirl Style
Before she began selling products in major teacher stores, this girl transformed so many classrooms with her inspirational themes. I fell in love with her transformations when I first started teaching and they are still amazing!

Her decor really stands the test of time. And not only is this chevron classroom beautiful, but the story behind how it came to be is also amazing as well! For more inspiration, click here. Select a theme of your choice to see how she would style a classroom.
11. Peace, Love, 2 Sisters

The pennant banner over the windows is a simple and easy way to add a creative element, but not cover up of all of the natural light.
12. Prayers and Purple Elephants

If purple is your color, this classroom is for you!
13. Glitzy in 1st Grade
In this classroom, it’s all in the little details.

The feather boa around the bookcase, lamps for extra lighting, a coffee table in her writing are. She really thinks outside the box!

14. Appletastic Learning

The gray and yellow chevron is bright and happy. It just reminds me of sunshine, which is not a bad thing during our long, dark Michigan winters!
15. Seusstastic Classroom Inspirations
She has sooo many pictures of her neon and black classroom, including how she made and decorated some of the items in her classroom.

She was actually the inspiration for covering one of the shelves in my classroom with teal and white chevron contact paper!
16. Life in First Grade

A lot of inspiration for every area of your classroom.

Look at this super cute door display!
17. Mrs. Ricca’s Kindergarten

Feeling the tropical vibes with her Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree.
18. Kindertrips

I love how colorful and clean this display looks. After all, blue is my favorite color. It’s calming and can be combined with any other color.

Every time I think the owl theme is out, it keeps coming back. It’s timeless!
19. Chic Classroom Style
Another classroom with grey and yellow as their color palette.

She shares ideas on all of the DIY projects she did for her classroom. I love her door and writing displays.
20. A Year of Many Firsts
The pops of yellows, blues, and greens make this a wonderfully bright and colorful classroom.

Notice the book banner hung above the windows!

There’s a lot going on in this classroom reveal. I love the picture frames on the door, and the pirate ship behind the guided reading table.
22. Teaching with Crayons and Curls

The black and white theme with bright colors seems like a popular trend right now.
23. Teach Create Motivate

I’m not sure that this is bright and colorful, but I love the color combination of blue and green. You can’t go wrong here!
24. The Core Inspiration

Again with the blue and green, but this book corner is so inviting!
25. Learning in Wonderland
I mentioned Learning in Wonderland earlier because another teacher used her bulletin board displays.

The little lanterns around her board and the decorative pillows are a fun little touch.
